Yeah its been a while since I shared something with ya , reason being shifting to a new house kinda taken a toll on my nimble fingers . As you know picking up the packed stuff and reopening them ..., has its fun but an ordeal at the same time . On one hand you are super excited to decorate your new abode, on the other you do not realise when to stop n rest a while ... uff !!!
Thats my status right now .
New place new folks , so how does one go about settling down ? Thats not just with shifting but can also be with moving to a new locale , away from home .
Step one from what I have learnt know thy neighbour well which means even if you may not like the face too much make friends .
Try to find out about whats available where and at what rate , when you are new to a place you end up going to the shop which is right in front , may be having all the stuff but not at a price you like !! Befriend a few more to get the right source . That way you end up exploring the place and finding out about some hip joints which serve you well.
Step three- You might feel a bit nostalgic about your older home , your near n dear one you left behind ,believe me I am going through it all but a new place should definitely have something to offer you only if you stop thinking about what you left behind .Ahh easier said my dearies only if I could let go but Am trying !!! to like this new abode n everything around it .
Try to get in touch with some one known may be a friend's friend this way you can start somewhere .Its a small world n a good network of friends and relatives makes it a better place isn't it . Someone known is like a blessing in disguise at times trust me on that . Call new friends over or go over to their place to make yourself feel good in the company of others , lonesome is not going to help at all.
And once you've made some friends be a part their gang , hang out or club , join one if there is a close one near your dwelling maybe a gym if nothing else .You shall have a regime to begin with n you never know, might just find good company in there !!!
Well let me begin doing all I just propagated .
