Desi wear .....makes you the king of Style....

Its festive time all round , at every corner there is a sparkle of tradition glittering away making us feel happy . A feeling you can't escape . a feeling you want to be a part of , and a feeling to you want to keep with you for a long time . Surreal is the season at the moment . Blissfully pleasant with an acceptable chill in the air .
Amidst all this fanfare one realises how the forgotten or given up desi wears are making a comeback . Be it men's fashion or the beautiful women wear . I just got some of this desi wear together for my lovelies to take a look and imagine yourself in any of them  .

Lets begin with the evergreen desi Saree,  the woman  of today, who cannot be more complete without it ,wrapped in the nine yards wonder, grace is thy name .....

Dhoti on men makes them look gentle with style and charisma, one whose heart is desi yet modern in their thoughts .

Jutis from the heartland of our country takes us  back to the lush green fields with colours all around and no time to sit but step out and show off a bit . Desi to the core this footwear can give a run to glamour of foot world .

Angrakha yes don it and forget it day or night, no time bound wear, any time any wear . Both for men and women desi at heart ....

Koti - the little over coat on blouses with sarees , on kurtas with shirts says I can adorn you if you choose me . I can add colour to your boring blues and fading faun . Try me if you please.....

Kohlapuris - say comfort , simplicity and class is my second name . I have adorned the feet of high and mighty . Yet have made all realise that it all rises from the ground .

The weavers put in their secret when they weave a cloth with their tough hands . An embroidered cloth tells a story of their love for the craft when they have other  choices, yet they chose weaving as a passion for life . Embroidery in any form speaks a language of love, hard work and patience to bring alive a motif or pattern in any and every form ...

The tale continues .... next post of mine shall have more of our weavers and their priceless creations .
If you have some such thought or story do share at desirocktales@gmail.com  or connect with me here. Shall be back with more desitales for my lovelies ....
